https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/tabledap/NEFSC_SCALLOP https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/tabledap/NEFSC_SCALLOP.graph public NEFSC Sea Scallop Biomass This dataset contains survey points for scallop catches from NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) scallop dredge surveys during the years 1966 to 2014. The NEFSC scallop survey program began in 1960 and had a major gear change in 1979. Since 1979 there have been other gear and vessel changes, for which the effects are generally small (Hart 2015). The survey collected information on total scallop biomass and meat weight biomass. Meat weight is calculated from shell height-to-meat weight ratios from Hennen and Hart (2012)\n\ncdm_data_type = Other\nVARIABLES:\nindex\nyear (Year of survey, year)\nbiomass (Total biomass., kg)\nabundance (Number of individuals)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\n https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/NEFSC_SCALLOP_fgdc.xml https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/NEFSC_SCALLOP_iso19115.xml https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/info/NEFSC_SCALLOP/index.htmlTable https://portal.midatlanticocean.org/ (external link) https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/rss/NEFSC_SCALLOP.rss https://nybsand.marine.rutgers.edu/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=NEFSC_SCALLOP&showErrors=false&email= Rutgers University NEFSC_SCALLOP
